Ok, - so after a lifetime of travel and loading gear into venues, both as a Musician and more so as a Magician, I have no further interest in "playing live", - I just enjoy making music in Public as I was at age 14 onwards. So the year was 2006 and it was decades since I had played Piano on a regular basis. Alongside my wife Susan we had made a success out of Magic, Stage Marionette features, kids parties, various holiday venues etc. The money had been infinitely better than I had ever known working as a Pianist.  It was a very daunting task to say the least to start playing again. My previous peak of playing was probably around age 21 for a relative's dancing school in Stockport, Greater Manchester UK (Joan Bates). My years playing for Holiday Resorts in Lounges and Working Men's Clubs on Hammond Organ never advanced me any further musically, but was a useful source of information into the world of Magic and Entertaining Child and family Audiences during my years working as a Resident Pianist for Pontins Holidays in their late 1970s heydays. 

The equipment I use today is mainly Yamaha Digital. Nothing special - no, (or very few) "Grand Piano Videos"; although in my younger days I had worked on some fine Bechstein, Bluthner, Broadwood and Bosendorfer Pianos.   As a final note: gaining command of a fully weighted 88 Piano after years of neglect is not easy; and I have to thank my wife for the subsequent years of having to listen to me repeating bars of music and recordings I was dissatisfied with  😍

As stated at the foot of this Page. I just simply take advantage of the facilities offered from Soundclick Covers, YouTube Approvals, and in the case of Soundcloud - no disapprovals to date. I do not in any shape or form monetise the works of others anywhere on the www.  My next project may well be YouTube monetised however - "Relaxing fireside music" (all my own compositions). I recorded THE HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN a few years back and dedicated it to my school in Stockport, England. I was a shy lad who had been chosen to be a school uniform model on opening night. Shortly afterwards I was Ordered!! 😀 to be School Pianist which really changed my life to a certain degree. As everyone seemed to want to be my friend after I played this (The Animals had a no. 1 hit at the time). ST ANNES RC SECONDARY / HIGH SCHOOL,  Glenfield Road, Heaton Chapel, Stockport. I note the heading that it is a GOOD School - well it was good for me.  I remember shaking hands with Headmaster Gerry Mack and leaving early as I had got an apprenticeship at the Stockport Advertiser as a Printer. (Hardly a job for life 🤣).  I did about 7 years at the Advertiser, two or 3 years at the Stockport Express then became a Pro. Musician.
